Yabber’s Website Front Page Module Updated to Include New Website Logo Features

Yabber’s Website Front Page Module Updated to Include New Website Logo Features

We recently encountered a broker that waited 6-months to have a logo changed on an aggregator-style website. A full 6-months! This gave us reason to dust off the old Platinum logo features, add a little more functionality, and push the tools into a standalone Yabber panel. The result is an additional component in the Website module that provides immediate, conditional, and seasonal control over how your website logos are managed.

As far as your leadgen and big-picture marketing efforts are concerned, the website company logo module is a small and somewhat insignificant feature. However, as with all primary assets on your website, we should remain true to the agile marketing philosophy that underpins our broader marketing efforts, and part of this agility comes from having full, quick, complete, and granular control over primary website assets.

The logo system performs three primary function:

  • Update any webiste logo at any time by uploading and sending an image.
  • Define scheduled timeframes where a company logo will automatically swap over to another.
  • Define conditional logos that will show on the basis of resolved borrowing objective and or industry/interest type.

This article will introduce how the system functions.

The Result

The result is as you would expect. The logo shown on the top left of your website will be altered as required or when scheduled.

Website Logo

Pictured: The standard website logo is 550 px in width and 80px in height, although other sizes may be used (often with unpredictable results). The image will be rejected if it is not in PNG format - this is used to permit various types of transparency that is applied with BeNet (AI) intervention.

Changing Your Website Logo

The logos uploaded to Yabber are part of a bigger library, so there's no limit to the number of logo images you may upload. Once you have at least a single logo uploaded, you simply make your way to the 'Send' panel, select your website and logo, and send. Various logs are maintained of the transaction.

Send Logo to Website

Pictured: Once you have a library of logos, changing from one to another takes no more than a couple of seconds. You select your website, logo, and send. Changes are made immediately.

Seasonal Logos

A 'Seasonal' logo is one that is scheduled to your website in the future, and one that reverts back to your default logo at a defined date and time. The short-lived seasonal logo may be suitable for holidays, such as the Christmas period, or it may be used for days of remembrance or periods of celebration.

To set a Seasonal logo schedule, you should provide a name and description, select the applicable website and logo, and define the time interval where the logo will be shown.

Seasonal Logo

Pictured: To set a Seasonal logo change, you should provide a name and description, select the applicable website and logo, and define the time interval where the logo will be shown. Once set, the automation will apply. There's no limit to the timeframe applied to the change, although another schedule can't be introduced where it interferes with another schedule.

To disable any schedule, you should navigate your way to the toggle switch in the Review panel. Turning a schedule off before the default logo is restored will cause that logo to show until the schedule is reactivated.

Conditional Logos

The Conditional module integrated with Yabber and our client websites is a seriously powerful feature. We've published around a dozen articles relating to conditional content that might be best referenced to understand how our unique methodology will significantly amplify your marketing efforts and funnel conversions.

The conditional logo feature will resolve the borrowing objective, interest type, or industry, associated with any specific user, and your website will show a logo based on our resolved understanding of that individual. This is the primary feature that was added with the most recent update, and it supplements the options that'll discriminately render blocks of content based on the resolved funnel objective of any website user. This is different to the font page Switch module that will swap out the front page for another entirely.

To use the Conditional logos, you should assign an interest type to a logo and website. When the interest is resolved as the primary, the defined logo will show in place of your default logo. Will it make a difference to conversions? No, probably not... but it's a cool feature. No single feature in isolation has a big impact, but when used as part of a big-picture funnel excursion it tends to have more of a positive impact.

Conditional Logos

Pictured: In order to assign an interest, you should define your website and logo, and then set the interest. Selecting the 'Send Rule Updates' (pictured towards the top of the image) will sync the library of conditional images with the selected website.

Conditional content of any type - including the Conditional Logos - is a moderately complex and time-consuming process. The conditional logo module isn't one that you'll use early in your marketing efforts, but as you amass more knowledge or possibly attract appropriately skilled team members into your operation, you'll invariably be drawn to some of the higher-performing conditional tools. The marketing tools we provide brokers are simple enough for a new-to-industry broker with limited tech skills, or powerful enough for the largest operators in the industry.

Existing Clients

Sadly, we've made modifications to the framework that'll prevent the feature we've just introduced from working until certain modifications are made. The change requires that you upload and send your default website logo to your website, and then you'll have to change the logo URL referenced on your website to a new URL. The action obviously only has to be performed once. It isn't complicated, and it'll only take a few minutes. As many won't use the feature, we ask that if you require the functionality be introduced to your framework, you arrange to have us perform the update.

You will note that the front page panel has changed a little as part of an update to improve Yabber navigation. With over 1000 features it has become a challenge to maintain a clear navigation architecture.

Conclusion

The facility to update, schedule, or render conditional logos isn't really the point of this module. The overarching benefit from the systems Yabber provides is being able to maintain complete control over your digital assets, and having the power and authority to make changes of any and all types in seconds. Yes, the logo feature is a great feature, but it's indicative of hundreds of other similar features that enable complete control over website content when and if required. You should never have to outsource simple changes!

Note: Keep in mind that while Yabber provides an array of tools to modify and update content, you have access to the backend of your website with full access to the Elementor page builder. Our Elementor plugin includes over 70 finance-specific content blocks created by our team. Again, the Elementor blocks were designed with agility and Yabber integration in mind.

If your mortgage broker website architecture doesn't give you the degree of control that Yabber provides, or you're using a website that simply doesn't return you any business, you should call us and determine if our marketing solutions are a suitable fit for your operation. Our products are priced lower than virtually all competing products in the market.

This building was erected in 1867 to replace the former bank that was destroyed by a fire on the same site. This classical style structure was designed by architects Smith and Johnson who designed many of the public buildings in Melbourne and Victoria. Arthur Ebden Johnson, 1821–1895 and Alfred Louis Smith, 1830–1907 were appointed as the Bank of Victoria's architects who, in-conjunction with the Branch in Beechworth, also completed branches in Wangaratta and Bendigo. The Bank of Victoria (not to be confused with the State owned State Bank of Victoria, and later BankVic) was founded by Dr Thomas Black, a physician from the Richmond area of Melbourne. The bank was registered in Victoria in 1852 by an Act of the Legislative Council, commencing operations in January 1853 as the Bank of Victoria Limited. By 1887 the bank had 65 branches, all in Victoria. The Bank of Victoria Ltd lives on through its subsequent mergers. The bank merged with the Commercial Banking Company of Sydney Limited in 1927 and eventually became part of the National Bank of Australia in 1981. [ View Image ]
