Some time back we spoke with Girgis from Vogue Homes about their dealings with brokers, and it's worth listening to the extract if you're interested in "the other side" of the introduction.
Cold calling usually won't work, and meeting a partner without demonstrating that you'll add significant value to their operation will yield next to nothing. Reciprocity, loyalty, engagement, and enthusiasm applies when you immerse yourself in your partner's client education and provide their business with tools such as our unique Partner Article (and Social) programs.
As long as broking remains a relationship-based business there's a need to engage in relationship-based programs. It's still a massive untapped and completely misunderstood opportunity. Not all partners will work, but you'll have to play the numbers to return those that are as passionate about your connection as you are.
