Gary Dransfield, Chief Executive Officer Insurance at Suncorp (one of the biggest general insurers in Australia owning retail brands AAMI, Apia and GIO), is being questioned over the handling of claims by AAMI following the bushfire that swept through the town of Wye River on Christmas Day in 2015, as well as the claim of Bernadette Heald whose house in the Hunter Valley was damaged by flood.
