"Now, there's a lot of Internet out there, and, as such, you might not be familiar with every character in our film. That's why we've included the list below to help you figure out what's what."
Just to be clear: the video stars the Internet - not safety. And it's a film... not a safety video. At least that's what the description will have you believe.
The Delta safety video blends in the very best and cheesiest of Internet memes and accidental celebrities to demonstrate the briefing on board their actual aircraft, unlike other recent efforts that resort to partially dressed models demonstrating life vest usage on board a surfboard.
Delta's video is long... 6-minutes long - but that does mean that it'll give cabin crew a few extra well-deserved minutes to read Facebook.
The video is a good example of something that's both entertaining and boring - simultaneously. Watch below.
