Instagram permissions are now assigned to Yabber when you connect to Facebook. This change enables more control over how Yabber manages FB/IG campaign data. However, in order to connect Instagram, you are required to switch your Instagram account to a 'Business Account' (which was always required), but you are now also required to assign your Instagram account to a Facebook page. Once done, you 'activate' the Instagram account in Yabber by selecting the applicable Facebook page (pictured). We'll publish detailed instructions by the week's end (it's very easy).
Facebook was updated first to support the managed social sent to your FB page for the RBA's Board decision. Managed social is otherwise muted for the remainder of the week.
Note that your are required to reconnect to Facebook to maintain managed social, Instagratify, Vista, Yabber Sharing, blog post social, and other social tools. Instagram requires a reconnection if we post to IG on your behalf, or if you actively use Instagratify.
Instagram has deprecated support of horizontal videos, and it now supports the Reel vertical format only. A few changes will be made to convert any IG video to a wide format suitable for FB, LinkedIn, Twitter etc.
