Note to clients. We've updated the Shortt URL tool in Yabber. It now seamlessly integrates with conditional interests, and the specific user is tracked when the link is used on your website (handy for external websites since external links aren't tracked in Yabber... yet). As a complete rewrite, the statistics are recorded in the new AI-driven Xena statistics module.
Needless to say, you shouldn't use bitly or other unvetted truncation services simply because you should disassociate yourself from services routinely used for spam and other nefarious activities.
The update breaks the free service (and that provides in our free finance plugin). The free service will be migrated to Fatly next week.
Version 2 of Shortt includes a full and compete RESTful API which gives you full and compete control over your entire system.
If you choose to use your own branded domain (recommended), we now install a full standalone 'website'.
