While there's a few big-ticket infractions, it's the indiscriminate 'You Qualify' style of message at the end of an unnecessary business-debilitating quiz that bothers me the most, and it's the one very deliberate action that'll attract the attention of the watchdog. In this case, the ad copy states that they'll "tell you instantly" if they can help (a lie). The experience is typical.
Lies, deliberate deception, false advertising, baiting, and honeypot traps have absolutely no place in the industry. Dishonesty shouldn't be avoided *just* because it's illegal (and ethically wrong), it's also because the consumer deserves a real and honest application of BID. Your first interaction with a client shouldn't be predicated on a deliberate lie.

The industry deserves better. Brokers deserve better, and customers absolutely deserve better.
To combat the decay of industry standards, we'll be releasing a product shortly that'll ensure brokers have no excuses.
