When you create an advert with rates, you're compelled to provide qualification and disclaimers as part of the advert. Accessing product details and information must be made freely available and not hidden behind a fake qualification quiz or similar.
When rates are used, your advert becomes obsolete when those rates change. In fact, the law - depending on the conflicting legislation - requires that any marketing reflect the new rates in 7 or 10 days. The reason some dodgy leadgen services will keep an old ad is to keep the likes, engagement, and contents alive (all lost when replaced with a new ad). Having a 'disclaimer' under an ad stating that rates applied in November of 2022 is simply unacceptable - particular since rates have changed.
This experience is akin to baiting. I'm not sure how brokers would feel about having to 'compete' in the social space with illegal ads, and those that buy leads certainly shouldn't associate themselves with false advertising. Certainly, customers deserve an honest experience.
Don't buy leads. Do it yourself. Take ownership of your business.
