Shad (Shit Ad) of the Day, 24th June, 2022. We copied 12 non-compliant and deceptive adverts today - this was my favourite.
Advertising a rate without a comparison is a mistake that invites serious compliance issues into a business (seriously, it's Finance Marketing 101). However, advertising a rate that was current as of March (when we're days away from a July rate rise, having had two since the advert was published) is inexcusable (ASIC allow for 7 days for changes to be made)
This ad is typical garbage that's followed up with a ridiculous low-performing customer experience. It's little wonder the pay-per-lead crowd deliver a pathetic 3% conversion.
Please stop buying leads when you can multiply your results by 50X and delivery higher-quality candidates.
