Compared to their competitors, this actually isn't the worst advert... but it was a horrible non-compliant experience.
I bounced through 13 irrelevant questions, and on the 14th panel I had to enter my email address. The system rejected virtually every email I entered (some fake, but most real). In the end, their system accepted a email which is an alias to my business email - just bizarre. How many legitimate clients do they lose because their tech sucks?
Details entered provided me no value, and no question needed to be asked. In fact, no results were provided because the form wasn't intended to help me - it was designed to 'help' brokers (and is doesn't).
Remember, any interaction you have with a client should be designed to qualify you, not the client. Any keystroke, page view, or question, that doesn't directly provide value back to a client, shouldn't be used.
Any financial benefit must be supported by (information-based) qualification. No barrier should exist between a claim and an answer. This includes email and/or stupid SMS verification.
Here's a thought: try honesty. Consider all the shonky ads out there and the terrible experience they provide. Why not try something that you're vocationally obligated to do, and actually educate consumers, and actually try and 'help them' like your constantly claim.
Ditch the finspam.
