When we introduced FB advertising to the finance community it was completely common to see conversions at less than $2 (that's conversions, not just leads). In fact, if a *conversion* cost more than $5 we'd go into damage control... and we now see some paying more than that for a single lead (self-managed of course - you'll pay hundreds if you're silly enough to buy them). The same low acquisition and conversion cost applied when we introduced Google and YouTube ads a few years earlier.
Netflix will soon provide an optional ad-supported model, meaning that your own TV-style ads have the potential to reach an entirely new audience.
There's no doubt that NF will require more of a budget than the typical FB video, but from what we've seen thus far the brand-centric platform has the potential to do amazing things.
It's quite possible that an early commitment will make the exposure far more affordable.
