McDonald’s Yagoona Reopens

Yagoona McDonald's opened its doors last month 50 years after it first opened, and 27 years after it shut its doors. The Yagoona restaurant in Sydney NSW is the spot where the first ever Australian McDonald’s opened its doors in 1971.

Growing up in the inner-west suburb of Concord West, and with family a few minutes down road at High St. Strathfield, we visited this restaurant regularly.
