Marilyn had minor plastic surgery on her nose job and chin, with the latter via an implant. The nose procedure was very light, since the differences cannot be seen from any angle. The surgery was performed somewhere between 1949 and 1950by Michael Gurdin, chief plastic surgeon at Cedars of Lebanon Hospital in Los Angeles. He removed a small part from the tip of her nose, making it a bit smaller, but keeping its original shape.
The chin implant was performed in 1950, also by Michael Gurdin. However, by the late 50's the cartilage used for the implant was absorbed leaving only a scar on her chin.
