ESA Bank Building, King William St, Adelaide, 1910.
The second photograph shows the building on the west side of King William Street in 1895 (a single decker horse tram trundles past horse cabs standing in the centre of the street). The ES&A building is in the centre, with the AMP building on the left. On the right is the premises of Robert A. Thompson & Company, Photographers. The extreme right of the photo is 22 yards south of North Terrace.
Sadly, the buildings are long gone(a Westpac branch is on the corner of King William and North Terrace, and a China Bank branch occupies the approximate locating of the old ES&A building.
