The Adviser published an article today detailing a 10m fine imposed on ANZ as a result of receiving information and/or documents from those not licenced to conduct credit activities.
Maybe this is an early wakeup call to those that use illegal finspam services such as Leadify, BuyMoreLeads, BizLeads, Karbn, Mortgage Magnet, and a ton of others (there are hundreds of real-world examples on our website). Of particular concern is the unethical baiting, lying, blatant non-compliance, and false advertising used by these charlatans to attract leads - it's just disguising conduct.
Legislation is clear. Ethical conduct is just an industry obligation. There is no compromise.
Why jeopardise your business future by engaging with illegal services that'll potentially expose you to criminal fines (or worse) when it's so easy, and far more ethical/cost-effective to do it yourself?
