Our guidance from ASIC - sourced as recently as a few days before this FAQ was published - is that the information forms a big part of your compliance obligation, and may lean into your Best Interest Duty obligations, since few brokers provide information on the transactional options made available via their lenders.
Transactional Widget with Elementor
The Transaction Product Widget may be rendered with Elementor or shortcode, but the latter introduces a complexity that's best avoided, so in this FAQ we'll look at how the Elementor feature is used.
To locate the Transaction Widget, search for 'transaction' in Elementor . Drag and drop the block onto your page. The applicable options are returned in the left menu panel.

Note that there's a few toggle switches that'll filter the data on various features or attributes, such as that for SMSF Transaction facilities. We recommend selected 'Unique Lenders in Panel' to avoid one single lender occupying the entire widget, although this may not be possible on filtered results, such as when the SMSF filter is selected. You may also filter results on specific lenders .
Transaction Widget Considerations
Widget data maintains up-to-date rates as sourced directly from lenders, although data is cached on your website for up to 48 hours.
